QTPOC Chat Trailer!

Check out the trailer for QTPOC Chat with Mia and Janani!

Transcript!

Clip 1 (White Fetish)

Janani: I’ve been processing my own white fetish for some time now. ..

Clip 2 (Pride Season)

Mia:  White gay maleness was just oozing out of every possible orifice of the earth…

Clip 3 (The Term ‘Person of Color’)

Mia: Light-brown-washing all of it, so it’s all more palatable and you don’t actually have to think about individual experiences of different people within the group.

Clip 4 (‘Reverse-Racism’)

Mia: Every schmo motherfucker, who doesn’t know anything about anything, that’s their go-to, their first thing is ‘reverse-racism’.

Clip 5  (QPOC Peacock Syndrome)

Janani: I usually find myself being like, Oh my God, who is that girl taking up space in my identity, I’m supposed to be the extra special unicorn one!

Clip 6  (Racism in QTPOC Community)

Mia: Queer culture has just sort of taken as it will from black culture.

Clip 7 (White Women’s Tears)

Mia: Seriously, stop emailing us with your crying. It’s not…it’s not…it’s not okay.
