Squad Goals: Veronica and Amber

“Amber and I met early 2016 when we both attended a Masego concert alone. What was initially a plan to hear wicked cool saxophone jams turned into the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Ever since we have attended multiple art shows and parties with our “40 babies” in tow. Not many can handle drinking an entire 40oz solo, however Amber proved to be up to the task. If there is an art party within driving distance, I can always count on Amber being down for the mission. We even road-tripped from Detroit all the way to St. Louis. She totally helped the transition of me moving back to Michigan by being her awesome creative self. Our friendship may be young, but with this momentum I’m sure it’s built to last. Here’s a photo of us at Belle Isle, a cool island in the middle of the Detroit River.” —Veronica
